                      Minutes of the April 10, 2001 Meeting
       
         The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Tonya Smith, -Norma Snedeker and David Crane and Attorney Henry J. Antonini present.
        The minutes of the March meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried.
         Lon Gardner, Hannum, Wagle & Clince advised that construction is basically on schedule and that the charge for a sewer tap on an empty lot would be $480.00. Lon presented 2 inspected and approved pay requests for contractors. Lon presented a draft copy of sewer connection specs to the board.
         Questions concerning sewer taps and lines from resident Mike Natalie were answered. Jim Hall was advised that dust control would be done when warranted.
          Henry presented the Fire Department contract. There were no changes except the date of coverage. A motion was made by David and seconded by Norma to accept the contract. The motion carried by voice vote.
          Sue advised they had approximately 6 delinquent wastewater bills that they would be sending letters to. If payment was not made she would advise the board and solicit recommendations on how to handle (small claims or property liens).
          Elliott Brothers offered $400 to purchase the 1978 red Chevy truck. The Town had tried selling the truck several times with no offers and has been setting for about 4 years. A motion was made by David and seconded by Jim to sell the truck. The motion carried by voice vote.                              The Police Log was turned in for March.
          A motion was made by Jim and seconded by Norma to pay the Town claims in the amount of $9,073.64, the wastewater claims of $575,802.16 and the Water Department claims in the amount of $12,096.58. The motion carried.
          The meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Norma. The motion carried.
