                      Town of Fairview Park
               Minutes of the April 8, 2003 Meeting
 
  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited and a moment of silence followed in memory of Jerry Klyaic. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and Attorney Henry J. Antonini present.
  The minutes of the March meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Jim and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The Council discussed the shutoff date for water service to the Ellis RV park. A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by David to discontinue water as of May 1, 2003. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Henry reported some clean up has been done on the Price property. Henry will check further to find owner of trailer.
  The doors for the firehouse have been purchased and will be installed in the near future.
  Mary Leister questioned how to tap into sewer at 1st and Plum for their new construction. Her question will be discussed with Eric and Chuck.
  John Newman Sr. was introduced as the new Marshal with Rick Baker remaining as deputy.
  The Police Log was turned in for March.
  A motion was made by Norma and seconded by Tonya to pay the Town claims in the amount of $8,649.54, the wastewater claims of $6,229.70 and the Water department claims in the amount of $5,280.67. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
