Town Council Meeting Minutes for December 8, 2009
                             Town of Fairview Park
         Minutes of the December 8, 2009 Meeting


    The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Jim Snider, David Crane and Jim Moore and attorney Henry L. Antonini present. A motion was made by Jim Hall and seconded by Jim Snider to accept the minutes of the November meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.
    Kristy Jerrell, West Central Indiana Community Liaison, presented handouts to the Council and advised them of her role. She also advised the Council that her organization would conduct an income survey to determine if the Town would be eligible for low income grants. The cost for the survey would be for postage and materials only. The Council will consider the information.
     Salary Ordinance 2009-7 was read once in its entirety and twice by title. A motion was made to approve said ordinance by Jim Moore and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
    A motion was made by Jim Snider and seconded by Jim Hall to approve the Clerk-Treasurer's surety bond. The motion carried by voice vote.
    Jim Snider presented pictures of property at 3rd and Kibby. The property is bank owned and as soon as the bank is determined, a letter will be sent.
    A motion was made by David and seconded by Jim Hall to pay the Town claims in the amount of $31,611.32, the water department claims in the amount of $53,438.83 and the wastewater claims in the amount of $9,169.11. The motion carried by voice vote.
    The meeting adjourned at 7:25 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Jim Snider.
