Minutes of the January 13th, 2026 Meeting
The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday January 13th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Cox, Larry Wilson, and Attorney Henry Antonini all present, Jim Moore was absent. A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Larry Wilson to accept the minutes of the December meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.
First up was the 2026 Appointments, Tonya Cox made the motion to retain everyone in the positions as they were in 2025 as well as the engineering firm and fire department contract,
Larry Wilson seconded the motion, motion carried by voice vote. The 2026 positions are as follows: Town Board President, Larry Natalie – Park Superintendent, Jim Hall – TownAttorney, Henry Antonini – Town Marshal, Curtis Stoffel – Water Office, Milisa Carty – Street& Water Employees, Ralph Leonard & Mike Klyaic – Superintendent for Streets & Water, Susan Crossley – Engineering Firm, HWC and contract renewal with the Fairview Park Volunteer Fire Department.
Tonya mentioned she will be attending the Clinton City meeting on Jan. 20th for the sidewalk
project, THRIVE will be giving their presentation to Clinton for the joint project for the sidewalks.
Leonard Akers mentioned the flag fund, he said there wasn’t enough in the fund to purchase flags if needed this year, Milisa informed him that $300.00 is being transferred to that fund.
Larry asked the police department if they had any updates, Mike Strader said there was not any at
this time, Larry asked the fire department if they had anything, Chad Moore said his department had done 225 runs in 2025 he said the majority of them was medical runs and also a lot of mutual aid runs with other departments.
A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Jim Hall to pay the towns claims in the amount of
$40,299.98, water department claims in the amount of$28,839.07, the wastewater claims in the amount of $7,038.26, and storm water in the amount of $57,327.44.
The motion carried by voice vote
The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm with a motion by Tonya Cox and seconded by
Larry Wilson, the motion carried by voice vote.
