Minutes of the February 12, 2013 Meeting
The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, Phyllis Lambert and Jim Moore and Attorney Henry Antonini was present. A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Phyllis to accept the minutes of the January meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.
Eric Smith advised that the water project is proceeding. The project length will be approximately 3-4 months. Paperwork signed this evening will be sent to the State for permits. Bids will be let in May with construction to begin in June.
Jim Hall advised that the new merry-go-round has arrived and will be installed in the spring.
Amended Transfer Resolution 2013-2 was read. A motion was made by Phyllis and seconded by Tonya to pass said resolution. The motion carried by voice vote.
Teresa advised of the Clerk-Treasurer bonds. The Council approved with a motion by Tonya and seconded by Phyllis. The motion carried by voice vote.
Mary Kay introduced Becky Hall as the new janitor and advised that she was doing a great job.
Leonard Akers complained of dogs running loose. He also advised that he would like to see the sidewalks on the west side of Ninth Street be repaired.
A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Phyllis to pay the Town claims in the amount of $13,392.23, the water department claims in the amount of $12,313.57 and the wastewater claims in the amount of $8,119.00. The motion carried by voice vote.
The meeting adjourned at 7:17 p.m. with a motion by Jim Hall and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.

Minutes of the February 12, 2013 Executive Meeting
The Town Council held an executive meeting on February 12, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at the town hall. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, Phyllis Lambert and Jim Moore present.
The Council received information classified as confidential by state or federal statute. The governing body certifies that no subject matter was discussed in the executive session other than the subject matter specified in the public notice.
The meeting adjourned at 6:48 p.m. with a motion by Tonya Smith and seconded by Jim Moore. The motion carried by voice vote.
