Minutes of the February 10th, 2026 Meeting
The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday February 10th, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Cox, Larry Wilson, Jim Moore and Attorney Henry Antonini all present. A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Larry Wilson to accept the minutes of the January meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.
Tonya Cox spoke briefly about going to the board meeting for the City of Clinton for
the sidewalk project, she said the city also approved the joint project for the sidewalks and right now she is waiting to see what the next move will be to go forward with it.
Larry asked Henry if he had heard anything about a lien we have on a property, Henry said he has not heard anything on it yet, Larry asked him to check on it for the town.
Leonard Akers requested a moment of silence for Phyllis Lambert who had recently passed away, Phyllis had been a clerk/treasurer for the town and a long-time board member.
Curtis informed the board that the intersection of 4th & Davis St. will need a new stop sign installed due to an accident that has just occurred there, he also said he had the monthly reports ready for the board and all our officers have completed their mandated law enforcement training for the year and everyone has been recertified, he also mentioned that Michael Ray was removed from the state roster and Mike Strader had been added. Curtis told the board that the call outs for the town have been up lately. Larry asked about his plans on the properties and abandoned cars, Curtis said the two main vehicles that they have been dealing with will be removed once the weather breaks and the property will be given notice at a later date.
A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Jim Moore to pay the towns claims in the amount of $64,809.60, water department claims in the amount of $24,870.99, the wastewater claims in the amount of $8,359.46, and storm water in the amount of $2,851.38. The motion carried by voice vote
The meeting was adjourned at 7:10 pm with a motion by Tonya Cox and seconded by Jim Moore, the motion carried by voice vote.
