Town of Fairview Park
              Minutes of the January 9, 2007 Meeting


  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and attorney Henry L. Antonini present.
  The minutes of the December meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Tonya and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Salary Ordinance 2006-6 was read by title and a motion to accept was made by Tonya and seconded by Jim. The motion carried.
  Ed Kanizer requested the Town to help with a booster station etc. on water lines at Geneva Hills Golf Course. He advised that there were plans for a number of new home sites. Checks will be made for any written agreements between the Town and Dan Shaw as to the number of water taps available. It was stated that our engineer Eric Smith advised that after 4 to 5 homes are built a full blown pressure test needs to be done and this expense would not be included in the retainer fee.
  A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Norma to retain all Town employees and to retain the present council appointments for President, Park Supervisor, Marshal and Attorney. The motion carried by voice vote.
  A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by David to renew the Fire Department, Engineer retainer and WWTP contracts for 2007. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Jeff Gosnell complained of an old maple tree at the corner of 2nd and Washington. Sue advised she would have the town employees take it out or get a price for removal.
  Neil Costello presented invoices for 2006 in the amount of $6,120.84 for those funds to be encumbered from 2006.
  A motion was made by Norma and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $7,367.21, the wastewater claims of $3,405.24 and the Water department claims in the amount of $8,844.80. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:31 p.m.with a motion by David and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
