Minutes of the January 13, 2004 Meeting
The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and our attorney Henry Antonini were present.
The minutes of the December meetings and financial report were approved with a motion by Tonya and seconded by Norma. The motion carried by voice vote.
Jim advised he has received one estimate on the old town hall roof from Guaranteed Roofing for $5,391.00. He will continue trying to get more estimates.
Certified letters were send this week to those property owners that complaints had been received on, giving them 20 days to clean the properties.
The request from Thomas & Hurlow was tabled to allow Pat Callahan and Henry Antonini additional time to research the issue.
A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Norma to retain all the current positions and to retain the current Deputy Marshal and not appoint a new one at this time. The motion carried.
The Fire Department contract was given to Jim Moore with no changes being made by the Town Council. Jim will go over the contract with the Fire Department and report back at the next meeting.
General Funds in the amount of $5,200 were encumbered from the 2003 budget to the 2004 Budget for the Fire Department. The Council approved with a motion by Jim and second by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
An executive meeting to discuss personnel over whom the Council has jurisdiction was set for January 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall.
A motion was made by Norma and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $10,354.71, the wastewater claims of $8,709.32 and the Water department claims in the amount of $43,868.74. The motion carried by voice vote.
The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. with a motion by Norma and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.

Minutes of the January 20, 2004 Executive Meeting
The Town Council held an executive meeting on January 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the town hall. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker present.
The Council discussed personnel that they have jurisdiction over.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. with a motion by Tonya and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
