                               Minutes of the June 8, 2015 Meeting



              The Town Council held their regular meeting on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 7:00p.m. at
the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council
members Jim Hall, Tonya Smith, Phyllis Lambert and Jim Moore present. Absent were
Council member Larry Natalie and attorney Henry Antonini. Tonya Smith conducted the
meeting in the absence of President Larry Natalie. A motion was made by Phyllis and seconded
by Jim Hall to accept the minutes of the May meeting and financial report. The motion carried
by voice vote.
             Sue advised that the letter cante back for R & G property on Fulton and that the other
grass had been cut. She also advised that the K.anizer property took 10 labor hours to complete,
plus equipment. A motion was made by Jim Moore and seconded by Phyllis to charge a total
of $228.75 for the clean-up of the Kanizer property which includes $78.75 for labor and
$150.00 for machine use plus any additional costs to remove trash. The motion carried by
voice vote.
            John Sanquenetti had a renter over the weekend where one person rented the building
and then sublet to another person. He requested that language be added to the rental agreement
to prevent this in the future. Henry will look at it.
             Mary Kay advised that she had been contacted by Kathy Baird to request permission
for 25-30 people from Eli Lilly to work on the park, including painting and clean-up, with the
Town furnishing the supplies. Permission was granted by the Council.
             Mary Kay presented \nite offs for Council approval.
             John Sanquenetti complained of dogs running loose in the 100 block of Kibby. The
Marshal 'Will take care of. The Council decided to run an ad in the paper reminding residents of
the leash law.
             Greg Kelshiemer complained that his sewer line is in the neighbor's yard. He was
advised that it was a civil matter.
              Leonard Akers asked again about naming the park.
              A motion was made by Phyllis and seconded by Jim Moore to pay the Town claims in
the amount of $10,289.30, the water department claims in the amount of $17,234.22 and the
wastewater claims in the amount of $7,460.08. The motion carried by voice vote.
             The meeting adjourned at 7:23p.m. with a motion by Jim Moore and seconded by Jim
Hall. The motion carried by voice vote.
