Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and our attorney Henry Antonini were present.

Jim received two estimates on the old town hall roof. Guarantee Roofing estimated $5,391.00 and Weaver Roofing estimated $4,200.00. A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Norma to accept the bids and to discuss at the next meeting after Teresa has a chance to research funding options. The motion carried by voice vote.
Joe Summers asked the status of the clean up of the Reed property at 5th & Lincoln Streets. A letter was sent and Mr. Reed was given 20 days to get into compliance. David advised that there is additional accumulation since the last meeting.
Other residents complained about the Swann and Blackmore properties on Jackson. Letters had been sent in January. Jim talked with Blackmore who advised that he had two people lined up to help with the clean up, but his truck was not running. Larry Beard with the Health Dept will be contacted to inspect the properties along with the Reed property and advise if there is anything his department can do.
Jim Moore requested permission from the Council to purchase a new rescue truck. He advised the fire department had the funding figured out. A motion was made by Norma and seconded by Jim to approve the purchase of the rescue truck. The motion carried by voice vote. The council instructed Teresa to advertise for additional appropriations for the truck. Chief Moore advised that there are 20 firemen on the roster at this time. He also reminded all present of the Chicken BBQ set for April 24.
Sue advised that the Town Hall will be used for elections this year and wasn't sure if the door was wide enough for wheelchairs. She will have Bill Graham check the lock on the door.
She also received a bid of $2,800 to remove the sediment from both water towers. Sue questioned when water is shut off due to bankruptcy or sale, if property owners are still to pay sewer. She will contact Pat Callahan.
