Minutes of the November 11th, 2025 Meeting
The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday November 11th, 2025 at 7:00p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Cox, Larry Wilson, and Attorney Henry
Antonini all present, Jim Moore was absent. A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Larry Wilson to accept the minutes of the October meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.
Larry thanked all the veterans in attendance for their service.
Tonya mentioned that Karen Snyder from THRIVE was unable to attend tonight’s
meeting but will be here for our December meeting.
Larry Wilson asked what was found out about the semis on the town’s streets, Henry said an ordinance can be drafted to set up a truck route thru town but if the trucks must deliver to a location other than the route, they can divert from the route to do so. Larry said the board will think about drafting an ordinance. A resident asked about having a semi-truck on her property, Larry said what they were referring to was the large amount of semi traffic on the streets, however if you have a semi, you can take it to your property just do not park it on the street. Larry mentioned at one time there was a load limit sign on Washington St. just off St.Rd. 163 but it was taken down when Clinton was doing a lot of road work and it was difficult for the trucks to make there delivers into Clinton.
Tonya mentioned that over on Gilbert St. between 1st & 2nd streets there was no stop signs, Larry said we cannot but up stop signs there because of the traffic flow, he said there are stop signs on Kibby and 2nd St. and Fulton and 2nd St. Larry said he has checked with the town engineers and marshal about this area but he will double check it.
Curtis gave his department’s report from the month of October, he said there were 16 traffic stops, 2 arrests, one significant event on Davis St., 4 golf cart stops and 47 calls for service with a total of 423 miles driven from all the vehicles. Larry mentioned a vehicle on
Parke St., Curtis said he told the owners that it must be tarped if not it has to be moved, he said he will check to see if it is still tarped, he also mentioned the property with the trailer that is right adjacent to where the vehicle is has been given notice to clean up their property.
A motion was made by Tonya Cox and seconded by Larry Wilson to pay the towns
claims in the amount of $16,747.39, water department claims in the amount of $19,036.88, the wastewater claims in the amount of $272,506.66, and storm water in the amount of $2,346.34.The motion carried by voice vote
The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 pm with a motion by Tonya Cox and seconded by Jim Hall, the motion carried by voice vote.
