                   Minutes of the November 14, 2006 Meeting

  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker present. Attorney Henry L. Antonini was absent.
  The minutes of the October meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Jim advised that both shelter house roofs had been roofed and the ceiling in the Town hall was completed.
  Questions were asked of John Newman concerning the nuisance properties. He advised that paperwork had been given to the Town Attorney concerning property on Town Street. Teresa will talk with the attorney to determine the status.
  Leonard asked if CEDIT money could be used for mosquito control. Teresa will check the resolution.
  Larry Beard questioned the road repair on Fulton. There has been communication with the contractor, who advises that it will be done.
  Complaints were received about limbs on Towne and Parke Street.
  Teresa advised that the town received an insurance safety award for 2005 and that money was received from the Major Moves distribution and would be deposited into the MVH Fund.
  A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $11,599.10, the wastewater claims of $270,167.79 and the Water department claims in the amount of $10,886.77. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m. with a motion by Jim and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
