                              Minutes of the October 12, 2004 Meeting

  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and our attorney Henry Antonini present.
  The minutes of the September meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Jim advised that there has been clean up progress on the Blackmore property on Jackson. A resident advised that a person hauling trash for other people is bringing in trash to the Blackmore property.
  Henry advised he would file action with the court on the Swan property.
  Larry gave a report from Eric Smith and advised that the developer needs to fix the water drainage problem on 6th and Lincoln. The first step would be the installation of a dry well. Larry will meet with developer and discuss Marietta's yard and the edge of the road.
  A problem with ordinance compliance on the installation of the sewer lines at the Leister residence on 1St Street was discussed. Henry will speak with Ed Kanizer the contractor to get the violations fixed.
  The rescue squad is having lights installed and wiring done.
  A motion was made by Jim and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $32,426.23, the wastewater claims of $10,272.06 and the Water department claims in the amount of $13,970.00. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 8:43 p.m. with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
