Meeting Minutes for September 13, 2005
BACK
  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker present. Absent were Larry Natalie and attorney Henry Antonini.
  The minutes of the August meetings and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Jim Moore will try to contact the person that did work for his church for further options on the noise reduction in the town hall.
  With additional questions concerning Nuisance Ordinance 2005-4 it was decided to form a committee with Council members Tonya Smith, Larry Natalie, Marshal John Newman and attorney Henry Antonini to go over the ordinance and present a complete copy to be passed at the next meeting.
  After questions concerning police patrol, it was advised that there have been no cut-backs on patrols or other services due to the price of gasoline.
  Jane Tyler advised the situation on Jackson remains the same and hopes the passage of the new nuisance ordinance will solve the problem.
  Leonard asked that a copy of the proposed nuisance ordinance be available for citizens to view- A copy will be available in the office.
  A motion was made by Jim and seconded by Norma to approve the 2006 Budget as presented. The motion carried by voice vote
  A motion was made by Norma and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $28,477.08, the wastewater claims of $5,565.37 and the Water department claims in the amount of $9,506.28. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:20 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Jim. The motion carried by voice vote.
