                 Minutes of the December 13, 2005 Meeting

  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Tonya Smith, David Crane and Norma Snedeker and attorney Henry Antonini present. Absent was Larry Natalie.
  The minutes of the November meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Ordinance 2005-4 was distributed to all present for their review in lieu of reading it aloud before a vote was taken.
  Ordinance 2005-5, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING #1989-4 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING HOURS FOR TOWN PARKS AND PROHIBITING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN TOWN PARKS, was read once in its entirety and twice by title. A motion was made by Jim and seconded by David to pass said ordinance. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Neil Costello reported that after reviewing the Fire Dept contract he found that the fire department was in violation of some of the terms concerning the reports to be submitted to the council. He will correct this by the end of the year. He explained that some departments are now charging insurance companies for certain runs. He will check into this further and come to the council with a fee schedule at a later date.
  Eli Lilly & Company donated $2,000 grant to be used for improvements at the Play Park. Jim will also check on the condition of the bleachers at the ballpark.
  The year-end meeting was set for December 28 at 7:00 p.m.
  John Newman suggested passing an ordinance designating 4th Street no parking.
  A resident asked the Council to keep their salary the same or to decrease them.
  After allowing all to review Ordinance 2005-4, A NUISANCE ORDINANCE, a motion was made by Jim and seconded by David to pass said ordinance. The motion carried by voice vote.
  A motion was made by Norma and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $11,339.34, the wastewater claims of $7,328.09 and the Water department claims in the amount of $45,362.86. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Norma. The motion carried by voice vote.

                            Year End Meeting
                               Town of Fairview Park
          Minutes of the December 28,2005 Meeting

  The Town Council held their year-end meeting on Wednesday, December 28, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith and David Crane present. Council member Norma Snedeker was absent.
  Transfer Resolution 2005-6 was read and a motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Jim to pass said resolution. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Salary Ordinance 2005-7 was read once in its entirety and twice by title. A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Jim to pass said Ordinance. The motion carried by voice vote.
  A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by Jim to keep all present appointments as they are. The motion carried by voice vote.
  A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $2,761.89. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Tonya. The motion carried by voice vote.
