                                        Town of Fairview Park
                         Minutes of the March 13, 2007 Meeting


  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Tonya Smith, Norma Snedeker and David Crane and attorney Henry L. Antonini present. Council member Larry Natalie was absent.
  The minutes of the February meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  John Newman will check on the nuisance complaint at the property north of 461 S. Towne Street and dog complaint at 450 S Davis.
  Neil advised he needs to hire a local contractor to assist in the drainage project. The council approved.
  Jeff Gosnell thanked Jim Hall and the town employees for a job well done on the tree on Washington.
  Jim Moore requested permission to install a projection screen in the town hall for fire department training. The request was approved.
  Willie Wyres explained his plans for the property at 1St and Washington Streets. Several members from Victory Baptist Church were in attendance with objections to Mr. Wyres' plan of having a liquor store. The Council advised that Fairview Park has no zoning and Mr. Wyres can proceed with his plans.
  Neil Costello would like to have the subject of zoning looked at again.
  A motion was made by Norma and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $9,777.41, the wastewater claims of $6,306.94 and the Water department claims in the amount of $8,683.98. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Jim. The motion carried by voice vote.
