                    Minutes of the November 10, 2009 Meeting

     The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members Jim Hall, Jim Snider, David Crane and Jim Moore and attorney Henry L. Antonini present. Absent was council member Larry Natalie. The meeting was conducted by Jim Moore. A motion was made by David and seconded by Jim Hall to accept the minutes of the October meeting and financial report. The motion carried by voice vote.

      Sue has sent letters on the Jackson Street properties with no response. Reserve Marshal, Brian Laney will check on abandoned vehicles and follow up on trash complaints and check with the insurance on the status of the burned house on Davis.

     Sue advised that the north well will be cleaned beginning November 30th and take about one week.

      Mike Kelley advised that the street light is out at Second and Jackson. Duke Energy will be notified.

     A motion was made by David and seconded by Jim Snider to pay the Town claims in the amount of $10,314.62, the water department claims in the amount of $11,988.22 and the wastewater claims in the amount of $271,592.06. The motion carried by voice vote.

     The meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. with a motion by David and seconded by Jim Hall. The motion carried by voice vote.
