                    Minutes of the November 8, 2005 Meeting


  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building.' the Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, David Crane and Norma Snedeker present. Absent were Tonya Smith and attorney Henry Antonini.
  The minutes of the October meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Jim Moore presented information on the company he dealt with on noise reduction. Contact with this company will be made.
  Nuisance Ordinance 2005-4 is being reviewed by the town attorney and should be ready for passage at the next meeting. Questions about the ordinance were answered.
  John Newman Sr. requested that the parks be closed earlier than 10:00 p.m. during the fall and winter. Teresa will check with Henry about amending the present ordinance.
  Mike Kelley donated grating for use in a drainage project.
  Jim Moore will get with Henry if there are to be any changes in the Fire Dept contract.
  Complaints were received about speeders before and after school and at noon on Kibby Street. The marshal will meet with school officials to possibly take away parking privileges and will also request assistance from the Sheriffs Department.
  Larry Beard requested a meeting with the W WTP operator to answer some questions he has. He also told the council that he felt our rescue/fire department was number one and did an excellent job.
  Jim Moore requested that in future any fundraiser held at the town hall, specify town hall, instead of fire department, as this confuses people about who is hosting the fundraiser.
  A motion was made by Jim and seconded by David to pay the Town claims in the amount of $9,431.28, the wastewater claims of $4,426.40 and the Water department claims in the amount of $7,975.87. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m. with a motion by Norma and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
