Town of Fairview Park
           Minutes of the June 14, 2005 Meeting

  The Town Council held their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. The Pledge to the Flag was recited. Roll call was taken with council members James Hall, Larry Natalie, Tonya Smith and David Crane and our attorney Henry Antonini present.
  The minutes of the May meeting and financial report were approved with a motion by Tonya and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
  Henry provided an edited nuisance ordinance for the Council to review. It may be ready to introduce at the next meeting.
  Larry advised that he did not get a good answer on mosquito spraying from Reelsville and he will research other options.
  Mike Kelley had concerns about the ditch across from him on 2nd Street and would like to see Parke Street paved.
  The public hearing concerning Ordinance #2005-3 Amendment to Ordinance #2000-5 Rate Ordinance commenced. The Ordinance was discussed at great length with several residents asking questions, making comments and requesting that the council review again all options before passing a rate increase. A motion was made by Tonya and seconded by David to continue the discussion of Ordinance 2005-3 and take a final vote at the next monthly council meeting set for July 12, 2005. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The council agreed to research options to reduce the noise level in the town hall.
  A tall grass complaint at 765 Towne ST. was received.
  A motion was made by Jim and seconded by Tonya to pay the Town claims in the amount of $17,419.10, the wastewater claims of $8,436.80 and the Water department claims in the amount of $8,209.98. The motion carried by voice vote.
  The meeting adjourned at 8:55 p.m. with a motion by Tonya and seconded by David. The motion carried by voice vote.
